Economics and Rural Development
Aims and scope: The journal is peer reviewed, has been published since 2005 with one edition; from 2006 Journal is issued semi-annually. The aim of this journal is strengthening the cooperation of scientists in the field of agricultural economics, management and rural development, and enabling scientists to publish the results of research in an international level.
Scientific and practical articles, books reviews, reviews on monographs and PhD thesys are published in this juornal. Papers are published in English.
Main topics of the Journal: Rural development, including agricultural economics methodology; Rural development policy and its implementation; Agricultural competitiveness; Economics of resources and its management; Strategic management of rural organizations (private and public); Finance, accounting, statistics and analysis of rural development; Rural sociology; Rural education and studying; Development of information and knowledge based society in rural areas.
Periodicity. Journal is issued semi-annually (January and July).
Publication fee. Publishing is free of charge for authors (the costs are covered by Aleksandras Stulginskis university)
Indexing. The Journal is indexing by EBSCO, CABI (Agricultural Economics Database, Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology Abstracts, etc.), Google Scholar, Ulrich‘s.
Peer review. All manuscripts undergo preliminary evaluation at the editorial level and those judged to be of significant importance will subsequently be peer reviewed by two researches in the relevant field. The Editors will see the papers through peer review to acceptance or rejection. The submitted papers are reviewed within 30 days.
